Optimus Farm Physical Therapy (for people) Private Pay Fee List:
Hippotherapy: Physical Therapy on Horses for Disabled Children
$55 per 30-45 minute session. This includes a horse handler and up to 2 side walkers, if needed and all equipment.
Regular Physical Therapy: Initial Evaluation: $125 up to one hour
Treatment: $95 up to one hour
Group classes: (1 hour) Fitness, strengthening, stretching, conditioning. Rate: $25 per person; Minimum Group Rate: $250 within Loudoun or Clarke County, VA. Please inquire about class rates for areas outside of this range.
Combo Treatments: Start with a Physical Therapy Evaluation and Treatment; then proceed directly to working with you while you are on your horse so you can incorporate the concepts learned from your PT and put them directly into your riding: $250 (up to 3 hours)
Travel costs (for any service from my home in Bluemont, VA): $25 for under 25 miles round trip, $50 for 26 to 50 miles round trip, $75 for 51 to 75 miles round trip.
Please note, Tootie is willing to drive 75 - 300 miles for an additional travel charge, and will fly greater than 300 miles. Please call for such additional rates.

Optimus Farm Services for Horses Fee List
Rehab Board &/or Training Board:
Have me give your horse the therapy (s)he needs, or bring them slowly and appropriately back into work for your sport once the vet has cleared her/him to go back to work. I follow veterinary exercise and riding prescriptions and being a PT helps me to know what exercises the horses need as they are beginning work. I have rehabbed countless horses over the years. $1600/mo.
Lessons:
$75/45 min private lesson on your horse. at my farm. Will travel to others on request as my schedule permits.
Coaching at Shows/Events:
$150 for 2 phases, $75 for one phase. Discount offered if I am already at the same show for my horse(s)
Sport Horse Evaluation:
Includes watching horse under current owner if for sale, watching horse under prospective buyer, riding of horse by Tootie, lameness, hoof, and neurologic assessments, vitals sign (heart/lungs/gut) assessment, consultation about feed and supplements, as well as how to safely bring horse into the kind of work you want him or her to do:
$285 (up to 3 hours)
Saddle Evaluations:
Although I am not a saddle fitter by any stretch of the imagination, and do work closely with one, I can evaluate which of your saddles will work best on your horse and with what specialized orthopedic padding.
