If you are wanting to pursue purchasing a horse for sale, you will need to make a non refundable deposit of 10% of the sale price of the horse. At that point, you will have 7 days to complete all aspects of a pre purchase exam and arrange for transportation of the horse. If the horse "passes" the pre purchase examination process for your desired activity level of the horse, and the horse has not been paid for in full at the end of 7 days, you forfeit the deposit and the ability to purchase the horse unless special arrangements are made up front to extend the time that process may take. Refunds of deposits are made only if something "new" or "worse" has been found during the examination process. We disclose any issues the horse has had during our ownership of it up front, so you know what you are dealing with before you head into the examination process,. This way, we can ensure you and your new horse will be a perfect match.. If you decide to purchase a horse but can't transport him or her within 7 days, a nominal fee of $30/day for board will be charged until the horse is picked up. We do everything we can to work with prospective buyers to make the process go as smoothly as possible.

TE Sollozzo competed this spring at Training level. In his 2nd event at the level, he qualified for the Area II championships and proved his Irish mettle by being one of four out of 39 to go double clear in xc on a day of pouring rain with thick sloppy muddy footing. His score has improved every time out this year, showing he is quick to learn. In an effort to show that he can be a novice level packer, we dropped him down a level to novice during his event on 9/1/24. He came in third by a nostril, earned a 31.4 in dressage (with a notoriously hard scoring judge), and finished on his best final score to date in recognized events.

He is 16+ hands, 8 y/o, is dark bay in color and has had nothing but professional training since coming off the track 3 years ago. Don't let his height fool you: current rider is an exc college basketball player and just under 6' tall. Extreme care has been taken in training him slowly and methodically, and he is now ready for his forever partner in crime! Since he was trained to be a Steeplechaser in Ireland, he has jumped the massive 5 rail fences at speed, and he is a xc machine. He literally has given me THE BEST FEELING I HAVE EVER HAD XC which is saying something considering I have competed a good 25 horses in eventing.
He loves to gallop at Preliminary / Intermediate speed just for funsies, and he is more than capable of becoming a 2 Star horse some day. He is best suited for a gutsy 18-25 y/o kid on a lower b u d g e t looking to go up the levels quickly, but he would also be happy to pop around novice and below at a slower pace. He does require

He is best suited for a gutsy 18-25 y/o kid on a lower b u d g e t looking to go up the levels quickly, but he would also be happy to pop around novice and below at a slower pace. He does require a knowledgeable rider. Ozzy is a super personable, sweet, and outgoing horse who loves his people. He will entertain the masses with his tongue tricks. He loves to snuggle and wants to be a lap dog. He is great for the farrier, vet, bathing, clipping, trailering, etc. A super bonus is that he is a very easy keeper. He even needs to wear a muzzle during turn out to limit grass intake because he gets fat on air.
Ozzy's 1st Recognized Training level xc Course

Dressage Test from 9/1/24
He most certainly rose to the occasion!
Liverpools are no problem!
He loves to play games with his tongue!
