Star is impeccably bred, as her sire, Fielding, was a class I Hanoverian Stallion, won an International Hunter Derby, and spent many years traveling up and down the east coast collecting high ribbons at National Horse Shows in the Amateur Owner Hunters. Her grandsire Fred Astaire was standing at stud at the prestigious Hilltop Farm for years.
Star has been to two schooling horse trials and scored a 69 and 70% in her dressage tests, and didn't drop any rails. She came in second by a hair in her 1st event, and could have done the same at her 2nd if her rider hadn't gone through the wrong flags at the water complex. Star's true calling is in dressage, as a jumper, or hacking about the countryside, but she is such a talented athlete with an even keeled personality that she has also shown promise as a hunter/equitation horse as well.
