2024 Fee Schedule

Optimus Farm Physical Therapy (for people) Private Pay Fee List:

Regular Physical Therapy:  Initial Evaluation: $150 up to one hour

Treatment: $110 up to one hour

Group classes:  (1 hour)  Fitness, strengthening, stretching, conditioning. Rate:  $30 per person; Minimum Group Rate:  $300 within Loudoun or Clarke County, VA.  Please inquire about class rates for areas outside of this range.  

Combo Treatments: Start with a Physical Therapy Evaluation and Treatment; then proceed directly to working with you while you are on your horse so you can incorporate the concepts learned from your PT and put them directly into your riding:  $350 (up to 3 hours)

Therapy Dog "Zeus": Black Lab Mix available for anxious patients to help calm nerves and encourage participation.

 Travel costs (for any service from my home in Bluemont, VA):  $40 for 25 miles or less round trip, $70 for 26 to 50 miles round trip, $100 for 51 to 75 miles round trip. $140 for 76-100 miles round trip, $170 for 101-125 miles round trip, $200 for 126 - 150 miles round trip, $230 for 151-175 miles round trip, $260 for 175-200 miles round trip.

Late Cancel fees:  If any appointment of any kind is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, a fee of 50% of the services which were booked will be charged.  If late cancellations occur more than three times by the same person, the full fee of the appointment will be charged for each late cancellation or no show.

Please note, Tootie is willing to drive up to 300 miles for an additional travel charge, and will fly greater than 300 miles.  Please call for such additional rates.

Optimus Farm Services for Horses Fee List

Rehab Sessions:

$150 for an evaluation with an rx plan given to the owner

$110 for follow up sessions; up to one hour for each

 Sport Horse Evaluation: 

Includes watching horse under current owner if for sale, watching horse under prospective buyer, riding of horse by Tootie, lameness, hoof, and neurologic assessments, vitals sign (heart/lungs/gut) assessment, consultation about feed and supplements, as well as how to safely bring horse into the kind of work you want him or her to do:
$400 (up to 3 hours) 

Saddle Evaluations:

Although I am not a saddle fitter by any stretch of the imagination, and do work closely with one, I can evaluate which of your saddles will work best on your horse and with what specialized orthopedic padding.  Priced as a rehab session would be.
